We are planning a trip to the island. Does anyone have some imput as to where to stay around Nanimo and Victoria. Would like to make good use of our TT. [PU]

Save up so you can afford the BC Ferry fare to take a TV and TT across the water!

Goldstream PP is about 16km from Victoria and a decent place to camp. Roberts PP is near Nanimo and right on the water, although it is hard to get into -- very popular.

Gordon Bay is a nice halfway point between Victoria and Nanaimo - on the Cowichan River and closer to Nanaimo is Rathtrevor Provincial Park - it's right on the water in Parksville and is beautiful!
