We spent the 4th of July weekend at this campground, and while it was nice and clean, it did not have a lot going for it as a campground. The sites are about 500 feet above and well over a mile from the lake. There is a teeny open space in front of the bathrooms for frisbee etc, but other than that, no open space either.

There were a lot of bugs when we got there, but on Thursday night a big storm came through (tree fell on one tent and a popup - no injuries) and then was quite windy the next 2 days so we did not have bugs those days.

Overall, the consensus was we would not go back, as Vermont has a lot of other great places to go.
