Hi all-
We're looking at camping in VT and ME next summer, and looking for campground recommendations for the former. I'm torn between Maple Hill Campsites (http://maplehillcamp.com/) in Bristol, and Meadowcrest (http://www.meadowcrestcampground.com/) in East Barre. Both are close enough to Waterbury activities (Ben & Jerry's, Cold Hollow, etc.), and both look really nice. Maple Hill is smaller, with moore wooded, secluded sites along a babbling brook. Meadowcrest is also relatively small, with what looks like a more open, rolling-hills type setting. Looks like Meadowcrest also has a pool, which would be nice, but not essential. I'm thinking I may prefer the seclusion of the former, but the kids may prefer the latter. Anyone camped at either of these campgrounds before?
