water filters?

    anybody use those inline filters when hooking up to a campground water source. They say they will last a whole season. Just curious if it's worth having in the camper?

    I use an inline at the faucet, I took the one out of the PUP and connected the ends together. I get a new one at the beginning of the season and throw the old one away. Bought a new PUP and never even used the filter.

    We use them especially if were going out of state. They seem to work good.

    It's a good idea to use a water filter. Pay attention to what it filters. We used to use the inline filter we purchased at Walmart, but now we use this: http://www.popupportal.com/index.php?topic=36634.msg239669#msg239669

    Depending where you go and if the campground uses well water or not, it's still a good idea to use a good filter.

    My PUP came with a filtration system in it. We have never used it because we do not use the trailer water as drinking water, we bring bottled water instead. I do like some of the in line filters that other people have posted though.

    I got one thinking the water would be better. Still tastes like yuck! I still use bottled water to make coffee. Otherwise, I just drink beer [:D]

    I use one just as a precaution but only use water for cooking/washing and bottled water for drinking.

    We do not drink any campground water. You just never know.
