How the heck do you unscrew/loosen the water heater drain/anode. I released the pressure already but the screw won't budge. Do I need a specific tool?

I couldent get mine out. Try a scocket wrentch and a cheater bar. Sspray it a few times a day with penetrating oil first. Then try it. Good luck.

    Got
Got it. Used a wrench on the anode screw head and vice grips to turn the wrench. Not pretty but didn't strip anything and saved me a trip from the CG to Walmart to buy a socket set :)

Before putting it back on wrap some teflon tape around the threads.
