I found this old water pump in an abandon camper. The motor works, but the impeller is shot. There is no name on the pump. Does anyone know where I could find a new impeller for this? If I can get it to work properly I would like to use it to make a water transfer system from bucket to camper or to make an outdoor shower. It works for a few seconds and put out a lot of water. But then it slowly stops . The motor keeps running, but only a trickle of water starts coming out. It was in a Pickup slide-in camper and is probably 25 years old.

I know what you're thinking! Just buy a new pump. But I like to fix things up.

with the diameter of the shaft, the diameter of the housing the impeller rides in, and the thickness of the impeller look at outboard motor impellers to find the closest fit.

Perhaps the impeller is just slipping on the shaft. Did you open it?

I've serviced my outboard motor impeller and it is much bigger than this one. This one measures only 1 1/4 inches across.

Sorry I didn't see the picture the first time. Looks like the center of the impeller is worn.

The center is fine. It's the fins that are deformed. I'm going to try putting it in hot water to see if I can straighten them out.

You could try flipping the impeller over in the case. You would need to bend the fins the correct way as you fit it back in the case, but they will then be firmly held against the outside of the case.
