Hi, Polly Pop-up here. I searched high and low for water pump problems but most postings were about anti-freeze. My pump has recently been staying on even after a 10 or so minute run. I have to flip the switch off to get it to stop. Lucky me! This is my first water pump problem lol. It seems as if I had everything else on Daisy (my pop-up) fixed at least twice! All hints and advice, especially easy stuff, welcomed and appreciated. 2015 Forest River Rockwood. [RTM]:smile_question1:[MOD]

You have a leak in the system. Once the pump fills or "loads" it should shut down and a sealed system will keep it that way until the water system is used and the need to refill. It's "sucking" air somewhere and continues to run.

Yup. What myride said. It’s losing pressure somewhere

Could also be the pressure cutoff switch not working.

The pump is not building up pressure ......... You are out of water .......or sucking air into the pump ........or you have a leak.
Also remember that if the water heater is empty it will take 6 gallons to fill it. I would hook up city water and check for leaks first.

Does water come out of the faucet when you open it?

Check your popup valves (usually on the trailer floor inside a cabinet) that are used to drain the piping. If they are not pressed down securely, they will sometimes cause a small pressure leak.
