We made a deal today on a N2U 2008 Keystone Cougar 29 FKS. We'd been considering moving to a TT for a while and decided to go look this afternoon. It had just come in on a trade so the dealer still has some cleaning up and detailing to do. As long as nothing comes up during a walk-thru we'll close the deal next weekend. I'm sure the weekend after that, we'll be taking it on its maiden voyage.
Really looking forward to showing up at the campsite, plugging it in, hooking up the water, getting out the lawn chairs and begin chillin' out for the weekend. [:)C]

I think our new purchase allows us to say that we've gone to the "gray side". We now own a 2006 20 C Coyote KZ hybrid TT, with 2 expandable bunk ends. It's still at the dealer, as we're purchasing a tow vehicle soon that's big enough and equipped with necessary towing upgrades. We cleaned out the PUP this past Friday. It held a lot!! I will miss it, but the DH and I need an easier approach to camping.

The dark side is flippin' awesome. We took the Cougar out for our maiden voyage this past weekend and it was great.

We had a couple hiccups though.

We left the light over the stove on during the walkthru at the dealer. So when we got to the storage lot on Thursday, the battery as dead so I had to crank the tongue jack -- no fun. Then we had to ask the camp host to show us how to turn on the hot water. I'm sure it was shown during the walkthru, but you know how that goes.

Otherwise it was a delight. Especially, when we were packing up to come home. No more shoehorning everything into the Pup. I now have a storage compartment for the portable gas grill, patio mat, e-z-up, etc. Only thing we had to load in the truck was food and clothes.

Did I tell you the darkside is flippin' awesome? [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D] [:)C]

This so much. In the pup when we were packing up we would have to take out all the food and put our clothes back in to suitcases. Now everything stays put.

Congrats!

Well we went much smaller from an a-liner to a 13f Scamp but we live it. The small size pushes us outside no a/c no tv just us the wife and I. We have a new love trouting so we do that as much as we can! our Scamp has no bathroom but we do a lot of boonedocking at the Walmarts so we have that lack covered. Baths are a military bath then we move on to the next town.

I think I Feb we will hit Quartzite but we will have to rent a camper spot as there are no bathrooms out there but lots to do and see.
