My DW and I have looked at HTT,s and TT's at shows and fairs and we agreed that if we ever found a campground we wanted to spend the whole summer at, we would get a seasonal site, sell the pup, buy a TT and go there as much as we could. We would miss the ease of towing and being able to back into tight sites. I feel comfortable towing our pup.

We will likely change to a TT, HTT, or Class C as we draw closer to retirement. We loath the rain set up and take down, the cruddy awning, and the lack of storage. But for now, the PUP gets us out, and it cannot be beat on the nice days in the beautiful settings. We still like camping, but in all honesty we are former backpacker campers who have grown into "glampers," and we see ourselves moving in the direction of modest (for lack of a better term) "RVers."

Just got back from our first weekend camping with the new hybrid....

Plus - quicker set up and take down of actual camper. Still figuring out where everything will go, so it was a bit of a mess inside.

Power awning, no messing around with a bag awning.
Power slide out - no messing with that either.

    Cons.....umm...hmmm....less gas mileage.....
