Well....we ended up selling our 1999 Coleman Sun Rige Grand Tour PUP late this past fall....After a summer filled with great camping in it..this fall as I was preparing to put it to bed for the winter, I notice the there was some delamination happening of the inside ceiling from the inner foam core...just a couple small spots..BUT...I knew the inevitable was coming. So I shot some gorilla glue inside it, and braced it up until dry and that fixed the spots....I immediately put it up for sale, and sold it within about 3-4 weeks.

So sad to see our first camper and first PUP go down the road.

BUT...yesterday we purchased a 2004 Fleetwood Terry 31 ft. travel trailer with slide out, bunks in the rear, etc. I am now in the process of wiring in a brake controller, and looking around for a good weight distribution hitch.

So, I have now gone to the dark side. again, said, to see our PUP go, but excited for the new adventures that wait for us this summer in our new camper.

Welcome to the dark side. It was sad to see mine pull out behind someone elses truck too, but, everything has it's pro's and con's. You will enjoy the dark side just as much.

Welcome to the dark side. I must be one of the few who didn't mind the pup leaving. The TT is just to easy. I don't miss all the extra work at all. :)

I too do not miss my pup. It was cute and the family loved it, but we will have more camping weekends now that Dear ol Dad has little to no set up with the TT. Enjoy!

We switched this spring. Set up is better for an old guy and the DW does not worry as much about me setting up.

We went to the dark side in October of last year. The TT is so much easier, and the bathroom is great on those rainy days, and when you first wake up on those cold days. We used to never camp in summer, but have a trip booked for the fourth already. My wife always dreaded camping due to all of the setup, she actually wants to go now. The storage space also great. The truck isn't full of stuff now. The kids never had much room in the pup to move around, they can roam and play when we are stuck inside now. Congrats and enjoy.

Another welcome from another recent convert!

We had a small 9.5' pup , a 12' high wall and an HTT (not at the same time) before we made the switch at the beginning of November.

We love our new TT and while I do miss some aspects of the canvas (listening to nature at night; rain falling on the bunk ends; better gas mileage), there are a lot of others I don't (windy, cold weather blowing straight through the canvas; setting up in the rain; closing up in the rain; opening back up after a rainy trip to dry out; longer setup time). Fortunately, we can store our TT at our house, so that made the decision even easier.

Nice TT. You are going to enjoy all that room. Don't forget to delete "Owner - 1997 Coleman Sun Ridge, Grand Tour PUP" at the bottom of your post.

with the Super Slide, it does seem huge. It's only 31ft long. [:D]

I'll post some inside photos when I get home from work. for a 2003 it is very very nice inside, and was well taken care of.
