I am trying to decide between the WFCO 8725 and the Parallax 6730 converter/chargers.

The costs are about the same if you include breakers (the parallax comes with breakers, the WFCO does not).

Which one is better in terms of reliability, ease of installation, and battery charging capability?

I'm leaning towards the Parallax because it already has the breakers so that would be one less thing to do.

    Thanks.

I don't know much about the Parallax 6730 but I changed my converter out the the WFCO 8725 a few years ago and never looked back. I just used the breakers out of my old converter. My vote is for the WFCO 8725.

Thanks for the input. The WFCO does seem to be a good unit.

However, I emailed Randy at bestconverter.com and he said the following:
"My recommendation would be the (Parallax) 6730. Its a better unit and comes with its own breakers so its less work to install it. Thanks.

I guess they are both good. I'll probably get the Parallax though.
