Sounds so much better than my baked pork chops. Disappointingly tough. Blah.

At home but we are having grilled veggies tonight.

First some mushrooms, peppers, onions, & carrots are marinating in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, sage, & fresh chives from the garden.

Second some asparagus is marinating I olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper & garlic.

In a few minutes, the first group goes in a grill pan and the asparagus directly on the grill. The best part is my teenage daughter is learning how to make these. She is checking the charcoal chimney that she lit to see if they are ready.

Aww....nothing. Im working weird shifts this week to kind of make up my days to start my vacation on Saturday. So, not grilling anything. BUT...when we head up North on Saturday for a week, let the grilling commence!!!! Cannot WAIT to do some over the fire cooking! We do that here at home in our firepit, but there's something soooo much better about doing it RIGHT on the shoreline of a gorgeous lake, after a full day of fishing!!!

Saturday I grilled freshly caught Black Sea Bass filets seasoned with Paprika, salt&pepper, and a touch of Garlic Powder. I cooked baked potato and corn for side dishes and had a wonderful white to wash it done with :)

Saw this post and wanted to reply. On our trip this weekend I did my first over the fire pit cooking. LOVED IT.

I I had a beef tenderloin (cut in half length wise). I let it soak in some red wine then just covered it with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Set it over some nice hot coals ....it turned out beauty. Did the rest of our cooking on the fire all weekend. Burgers, dogs, bacon .....was awesome. Addicted.

Salmon on the grill is one of our favorites! Just plain old charcoal, small fire, and delicious!

Grilled Prawn Fajaitas with asparagus, onions, sweet peppers, green beens, and mushrooms. I grill almost every day in the summer, it keeps the heat down in the house.

I wouldn't have normally bought these, but they were on sale, and I had a coupon for additional money off. They were Johnsonville Brat patties. There were different flavors, but I just bought the regular brat flavor. Dh absoultely loved them, and we both remarked how much different they tasted than a brat (which we like too). They were simply grilled on the gas grill and put on hamburger buns with dark mustard.
