Tagged my pup. Took two hours!
Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
I tagged mine today too. Please don't hate me because I was in and out in 15 minutes or so. The first DMV I went to this morning, I'd still be waiting if I'd stayed.
Last night I sold the old Starcraft.
Can't you guys do that by mail or on-line?
They are all like that here, at the end of the month.
I just purchaces mine so I had to do a title check and title work, so no. But when I renew, I can then do it by mail or online.
Fixed the stove and made sure there were no leaks. All fixed now and all 3 burners work!
Today we will cut down the safty boards and then sand and stain them.
Took it out of my down stairs garage and brought it to the upstairs garage removed some of the old peeling label and organized a few things it preparation for tomorrows camping trip
Washed the curtains, took out all the cushions to air out and wash tomorrow. Installed a portajohn! Going to make a cover for it tomorrow.
How often do you have to tag your Pup? We buy a trailer plate that is good for life. There is no expiry date on it. When you buy your trailer, you go to MTO, change the ownership into your name, pay tax on the price you paid for the trailer, and buy a plate for it for $35. Thats it.
How much do you pay and how often?
Opened up our ntu 98 Dutchman 1203 to see what needs to be done not much besides rebuilding the sideboards on the roof then new tires.Everything else is great just needs a little cleaning hope to get started on the sideboards in a few days. Will post pics soon.
I had to pay the sales tax and title work. I am not sure what it will end up being yearly.
Well, yesterday evening when I got home from work, I decided to check the grease level in the bearing on the PUP. Found everything okay, however, while I had the tires off the ground, I spun them to see that they are grossly out of round. So, I guess that means new tires and this time they will get balanced.
My tag renewal came so that's what I'm doing. Should be for 2 years.
What did I do today? I took pictures of it sitting in the garage to post on this site.
Stained the replacement toe boards and neither side matched the current laminate so I gave up and headed to the store bought texture paint instead. Got 3 coats on already but will probably needs more. I figure if that doesn't work and I don't end up liking it, I will do it over again later. It sucks being a perfectionist.
I sanded and put 2 coats of outdoor paint on our safety boards. They are boards we are adding to the King bed's sides to prevent our boys from rolling out. It makes me feel better anyway.
Got my Popup Portal Flag today and sewed velcro to the end of it. I will put velcro on the underside of the bed and attach it there. Sewed a camper tab back on a curtain.
And finally, it's not the Pup but my TV. I think you all might like it.
It seems like alot, but we are camping next weekend so I am in crunch mode!
Did the J hook mod for the sway control per fall issue of Popup Times mag.
Visited local camper parts guys and purchased:
City water inlet
Gravity water fill hatch
20' new water tubing
At this point the guy says I think you reached the $50 mark have a free catalog
Pressure regulater and hose
7 wire camper cable
50' butyl tape black
5' beige butyl tape
Yep gonna be a busy week end
I purchased and installed my first LED light bulb. The exterior light at the door was blown and had to be replaced. At a cost of nearly $30, I wonder if it is going to be worth it.
another coat of paint on the wood pieces and a couple more to go tonight.
Washed and waxed... Back in the garage....
Three weeks to a camping week in the Outer Banks of NC and we have cold weather to include forecast of snow, so I haven't done anything other than re pack the wheel bearings. Was hoping to do more this weekend but no luck with weather so it ill wait till next weekend.
