I am a site supervisor at a home for people with intellectual disabilities and the dw is a certified nurse assistant in a nursing home.
What an impressive résumé this group has going! To the teachers, I say, "better you than me!" I can barely do 8 hrs on a field trip and weekly Girl Scouts! To the Social workers, I say, God bless you. Working with them often in our unit, they are the true angels. Military and public servants, we salute you.
Currently, I'm a Rescue Ninja, at least that's what I tell the kids the RN stands for. Pediatric Critical Care is my passion, along with camping and vacations in general. I gave up a career as a wedding cake decorator/designer for the glamorous world of Nursing.
DH is retiring from the Navy next year, unless he gets promoted next month, then it's four more years.

DH is a retired forester . I was also in forestry, until I slipped off to the dark side to become a computer analyst.
