That's interesting. Physics and running must go together. My HS Physics teacher was also the running coach, 40 years ago!
I am a retired firefighter/paramedic, now working in the campus safety department at our local high school.
My StepDD is High School Physics/Chemistry teacher and she has completed 3 full Marathons (26.2).
DW is a retired science teacher. I was an editor for close to 30 years then retired and spent the next 8 years as a rural carrier for USPS. I retired six months ago.

I am investigate insurance fraud and my other half teaches at the community college.
Retired after 28 years as an air force firefighter and 15 years as a property manager at a large university.
I'm an Automotive Service Tech and been in the trade 16 years. I've been off the floor as a Service Advisor at a country Ford dealership going on 1 year now. I miss getting my hands dirty but its easier on the body and I'm surprised how much I like this side of the buisness.
Restaurant manager. I get weekdays of frequently. It's nice because the CG's tend to be slower/more availability.
I also get 5 weeks vacation a year. 23 years with the same outfit. They've taken pretty good care of me.

Thanks NJGuy. It is a noisy place. That's why I enjoy getting away from the rat race. i.e. camping, hunting etc.
