I was an Engineering Tech for the State of Kentucky. Managed the state's transportation database and worked in GIS (geographical information systems). Basically data on maps. Was really burned out and tired of office work. Sitting in an office behind a computer not so good for me. So I bought some time when the opportunity came up and fully retired at 46. Now I work on the family farm and trying to get it (and me) back into shape. Full time job at the moment are major home renovations on the old home place. That will be full time for a while but I love hands on carpentry and construction. Go to college to get an office job and out of manual labor and farm work. Now right back to manual labor. I sure feel a lot better both mentally and physically though.
