PA is an "at will" state. Means they need no excuse to send you on your way. Change of management meant and still means an overhaul of the supervisory/management team. There's a desire to shift the corporate culture, but disagreement was not met with open arms. At this point, I just need to get to Medicare age and get out from under the $1400. a month COBRA for insurance.
Clinical Laboratory Scientist for the last 16yrs. Currently still doing lab work, but I'm now the manager of a small hospital lab. Also dabble in the DJ/Karaoke business. Got to manage some music for my local farmer's market this summer. When I couldn't get a local band to come and play, I'd set up my equipment and play some tunes. I got brave once and sang a few numbers to the crowd on my guitar. Quickly went back to the pre-recorded stuff.
I recall when Sam Walton built one of his first stores in Columbia Mo.Sam was from Mo. and went to Mizzou! in the late 60s all we had was Gipsons the leader at the time! I watched this junk store Sam opened but he got better at it finally one day the Gibson didn't open up Sam had outlasted them and after that he just got better and better. I wish I had went to work for him at 100 hours a week I would have had a fortune now. 100 hours a week was his requirement then but he sure rewarded people!
I saw those ovens in Italy they are pros if you have ever been there. they cook everything on those things I was just fascinated as I sold the big ranges and ovens all my life. the KISS principle works everytime doesn't it? bob
Kiss is how I operate! I only do pizza but make sure to do it right. Yes you can cook anything in this oven. Best chicken wings ever because of the high temps. Crisps up the skin like you fried them. If I ever get rid of the truck I will always own a wood fire oven after having this one.
I use oak. Turkey oak to be specific. It splits easy and burns really hot. I keep the oven around 800 on the deck and over a 1000 in the dome.
wow! so what in the h is turkey oak never heard of it. I saw wood I couldn't identify in Europe it really looked like grape vine! bob
US Navy 22 1/2 yrs, Traffic engineer, had a small engine shop, had an appliance & A/C shop. Now I am a farmer, only thing I know how to do is work...
But that's a good ethic to have! Convincing yourself that's it's OK to retire and not work all the time is really difficult.
