I operate a tower crane in Chicago. Almost as much fun as running out to the woods for a quick getaway for the weekend 72DEBCB8-6B7D-480B-AD5D-E65AEA655E92.jpeg

Retired postal service since May 2016, wife's a business analyst & still in the saddle...presently,as a puppet of the wife, I occasionally dabble in the art of doing dishes, vacuuming, laundry, & baby sitting her little 'chi; a failed coup for freedom in the summer of 2017 resulted in more chores and an allowance reduction, so my life pretty much sucks...for now...

I was in accounting but since first kid born 1988 a SAHM. I kept busy homeschooling our three and volunteering in their activities. As our youngest graduated high school I was looking into my dream job of a travel agent but one daughter was pregnant and had to go back to work so I kept her baby. They now have three and I'm homeschooling oldest. So accountant/wannabe travel agent but nanny and teacher.
    DH is a controller.

I'm a youth and family minister, I'm also an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force Reserve.

Before ministry, I was an active duty aircraft mechanic for 6.5 years then retrained and was an intelligence analyst for 2 years.

I posted on here before that I was retired. Unfortunately, I've had to take on a new job. I am now a full time Aliner repairman. I have only one customer. It's me! (I wish I was kidding!)

Technical writer (official job title is "Senior Professional Content Developer"). I'm ankle-deep head-first in our department's infrastructure, and our group spans half the globe—US west coast to India, with a lot of people in between. I'm about four months short of 20 years at this place, in which time it went from a joint venture/almost startup to pretty darn big. Our camping trips should help me to depressurize, burn off some of that accumulated vacation time, and (of course) get some family bonding time in.

And I'm 1 billion and 2. IT Network Consultant for a small IT consulting firm.

Apparently we IT folks like to camp. Makes sense, I guess. I know for me, personally, I love going anywhere that I'll have spotty (or worse) cell phone reception. Guarantees no emails/calls/texts!
