Here you can see the back end of my TV. It is a Ford F250 Superduty Crew cab. It has the 6 liter turbo diesel in it. I love this truck. I think my wife is starting to think I spend a little too much time with the truck, and not enough with her. 2003 F250 Super Duty Crew Cab 1996 Viking 2006
I use my stock 2006 Ford Ranger extended cab 4x4. 4.0 liter v-6 with the 5 speed tranny and push button overdrive. 5000 lbs towing capacity. Class 5 Reese WDH. 20 mpg general driving and 15 mpg towing. I turn off the overdrive when climbing gentle hills to keep the rpm's at about 3000. I manually downshift to climb steeper grades and run 45 mph at 2700 rpm with no one following. That gives me the ability to increase mileage, stay in the horsepower band and enjoy the scenery. I could easily run 55 to 70 up most any hill. When someone comes up behind, I pick up speed until I can let them pass. I am very happy with the rig. 2004 Fleetwood Utah w/slide 2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 Ext. Cab www.CWhatIC.net
We tow our '92 Coleman Cedar with a '08 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi quad cab. Have to check the mirrors once in a while to make sure it's still there cause you definately don't feel it. A little excessive for a 995 lb PUP, but it will come in handy if/when we upgrade in the future!! Cara & Bill '92 Coleman Destiny Cedar '08 Dodge Ram 1500 Quadcab Hemi

We tow with a 1999 Subaru Forester and have a 1983 Coleman Royale. We studied all the specs on the Subaru before deciding we wanted a popup that weighed no more than 1200 lbs. We also had a transmission cooler put on and have the car checked each year before towing. I was nervous at first due to a bad experience on our last trip with our 23' travel trailer towed by our 20 year old Suburban. After that we decided it was time to go back to a popup. We miss the room inside the trailer but really do love our popup.
We tow an '08 T.R.E. Marco 18Ft TT with a Front Wheel Drive V6 Ford Escape. Marco&Scape The Trailer has an empty weight of about 2200Lb and a GVW rating of 3500Lb. Lots of Power, a Smoooth Tow. Upon determining that Marco has a whopping 430Lb Tongue weight we did add a WDH. Lets us know what kind of mileage you get from the diesel. I've been hearing lots of hype, it would be good to get real world information. James 1976 Lionel LPL 80 2002 Mazda MPV, 16' Canoe Wife/3 Kids/Black Lab

It's nice to see some of the smaller vehicles that tow. I tow with a 2007 Toyota Tacoma 4cyl. I like getting 20+ MPG around town, being able to tow, and being able to park in a parking spot. Matt and Lori O 2007 Tacoma 1984 Coleman Columbia

I've been wanting a Suburban for a looooooong time. With three kids, anything without three rows of seating wasn't even an option for us. That third row really makes life more fun on long trips. Plus, I'm really considering moving up to a heavier HTT before too long and this will make that possible. And the biggest plus of all, is I no longer have to borrow my Father's Explorer to pull my camper! We recently picked up a 2006 GMC Seirra. Towed the PU to put it away for the winter and didn't even know it was there. We use DW's 95 Mercury Villager, it pulls the popup pretty well. So far I've only moved the camper across the yard with the Astro van, but I don't expect any trouble from it. We have enough youth. How about a fountain of smart?
