We took advantage of this nice fall weather and went out Monday thru Friday hoping to catch the trees changing but no color quite yet. Had a great and relaxing time anyway, as you can see by the first pic we had this whole loop of the campground to ourselves.

Yes it is. It's the best way to get to the visitor's center as far as I am concerned. It was rainy that day and the road a bit slick but 4 wheel drive made it easy. Less traffic and more opportunities for more stops and pictures.
Sold our 2000 Coleman Bayside Elite and bought a Jayco Feather 17C export hybrid. Much easier for this old man to set up. It is completely self contained.
The wife loves the stove, oven and microwave. Plus the full bathroom.
Making the most of out of a rainy weekend with a kettle of campsite chili, a bonfire hot enough to survive a rainstorm, and a bottle of schnapps to keep warm!
