I'm sure that is a question that all of us ask me as well......

Just a thought.... I was at the dump today dropping of a small load and it occured to me that they have weigh scales at the dump! I asked the attendant if they would allow me to weigh my camper there and "sure, no problem. We get that occasionally".

So next time you wonder that question, you might try detouring to the local dump and getting yourself weighed.

anyway, just a thought. Didn't check if that has been suggested in any other thread, but I'll be heading out there soon.

Thanks for the tip ... will have to check that out. Our commercial scales are fairly reasonable, so that is another option.

that is a good idea... although there are several CGs closer than any dump, junk yard or truck stop. I would have to drive at least 45 minutes to get to any scale of any type (that I know of)... ah the joys of living in a small town an hour from a larger city of decent size...
