During the summer, I drink either a lemon shandy or gin and tonic (Tanqueray has an awesome rum called Rangpur that I love). During the winter, something a little hardier, usually a dark porter or stout (not Guiness, I prefer decent stouts, like Young's, or microbrews). Fall usually brings hard ciders like Woodchuck. DW seems to always drink wine coolers when we camp. Which is odd, since she NEVER drinks them any other time.....
Ok here it goes, in the past I've always had a supply of Busch light on hand when camping but have found the joy of home brewing. Saving most of the home brew for home and guests. The wife and I have in the past few years have really enjoyed all of the wineries that have popped up. We really enjoy fruit wines. So with that being said beer for me and wine for her. Of course in moderation
I'm really into vodka and diet tonic right now...just a twist of lime. I thought I'd miss regular tonic, but I haven't noticed much difference really. Less calories.
I drink DDD's (triple D's) That is a Diet Dew Driver. Diet Mt Dew and Vodka.... Until DW tells me to go to bed!
For me it's Busch lite unless I'm expecting guests, then Bud lite. For Carol, my sexy wife, it's a glass of white Zin. But when it's time to start thinking about the bunk..., well, Southern Comfort over ice.
For me anything Yuengling makes for beer For wine a good merlot or chiante (I ate his liver with some fave beans and a good chiante) and of course Jack Daniels Jerry
For me it's either Busch Light or Lienenkugels Original. For the wife is usually vodka and lemonade. Glad she doesn't like my beer!
I like beer. My all time favorite is Guinness followed by a local brewer called St. Arnolds. My favorite light beer is Bud Light Lime.
+1 on the Woodchuck Amber! If you can find the Woodchuck 502 it's delicious. If you like that, try Ace Pear Cider! It's my favorite.
A little bit of Captain Morgan Spiced rum with some Diet Dr. Pepper. You know it's time to take a break when you start talking like a pirate.
Templeton Rye and Ginger Ale. A little sipping drink around the fire at the end of a fun filled day is just the ticket.
Oh, you're one of them. Remind me to shut off the lights and close the curtains when I seer you coming.
