Living in then Milk Capital of the World. (And until proven otherwise Milk Capital of the Universe!)

First weekend in June is Milk Day Weekend. By virtue of this post you are all invited in perpetuity. You and your decendants).

Italian Beef is searved every year. Bring a beverage and a dish to pass. The parade starts at 1 on Saturday.

Where I grew up was Enola,PA. Only thing it's famous for is Enola is alone spelled backwards. Plus Hershey, Three Mile Island, and the Capitol of PA are all close by.

Where I live now is famous for cigarettes (RJ Reynolds), Old Salem, and two separate cities that decided to merge.

I'm friends with a guy that went to high school with Cindy Crawford. I didn't believe him until he showed me his yearbook.

We use to be known as the Fur & Leather Capitol. We had many businesses that we devoted to tanning deer hides and making custom garments.
Now, the one thing I can think of, is we have the oldest family owned bar in the state at 110 years. It's on it's 4th generation and people come from all over for his sauerkraut pizza. [:)O]

Grew up in Arlington, Va. Went to Yorktown HS where Katie Couric went. Our rival was Washington-Lee HS where Sandra Bullock went. Shirley Mclaine and her Brother Warren Beatty lived near Sandra's school. [8D]
