I never posted in the old thread! I've got the finest 1984 StarCraft 19 in the fleet. Now retired for the 25ft TT but wife has graced it with a lifetime fleet pass. (Reads as: She said "Don't sell it" and tears may have been shed when I brought it up...)

Just picked up a '98 Starcraft Galaxy two weeks ago w ac for $500 from a close friend. Just finished sealing all seams w dicor this past weekend, putting on new tires/wheels, replacing entrance light and cleaning it. I am surprised the ac still works. Leave on first trip in two days!!

I have a 1984 that I am restoring. Trying to get it liveable before Burning Man 2019. Already stripped out most of the old stuff and will be putting in the subfloor and new laminate flooring this weekend. Also replacing the little water tank with something bigger and adding a grey water tank.

I just bought an 87 Starblazer this week. I think I will sleep in her right out in my back yard since opening season is not until April!!

We just bought a 96 Star Flyer. It has the front storage. There is some water damaged wood up there. The plastic cover has cracked corners. We dont have keys to open the small side access hatches.

Can starcraft supply lost keys for a 96 model? We also dont have a door key. Otherwise, where can I locate a new door latch?

I should have said our travel star is a hybrid. The front storage is where the bunk folds up. When folded, the mattress tends to hang into the sink. I'm trying to figure out how to avoid this.

Have you contacted Starcraft about the keys? I would also ask your local rv dealer as ours has keys to everything! They could at least get those side access doors open for you. You could then even get cylinder locks from a hardware store to replace them. Just a thought.

I was able to remove the side hatch locks and replace via hardware store. I should check with rv place about door keys..

We're lucky to have lock and key sales folks still in our metro area. I bet you could send it to a place like this to have that lock keyed: https://davislockandsafe.com/

    Glad you replaced the locks!
We can't fit our first up canopy in the storage compartment up front because the door is too small. Ugh! Guess it will go in the back of the truck with the kayaks.
