Which GPS to buy?

    I LOVE my little, easy to use etrex for geocaching and the Navigon in the TV. Bought the etrex on Craigslist for $10.00 and I don't think the guy ever used it!

    I too started with the old blue etrex legend Tom. I liked the format and ease of use a lot, but always lost the satalllites under clouds and trees. Mine was well over ten years old, and eating batteries every couple of hours. I hear the new etrex line works pretty well though. Technology has come a long way since then. Enjoy!

    The Garmin eTrex seems to be the standard beginners unit.
    I have a Bushnell Onix 200CR which has a very steep learning curve but it has a very strong antenna so even under heavy wood cover it keeps very accurate location.
