I looked at one like that before deciding on an Apache. They are clearly well-built. (Both Apache and Pal's.)

I bought my first one last month for $700 and really appreciate the deal. A '76 Starcraft Starmaster 6. PO put on new canvas and windows, tires, and marine battery. Been working on the kinks. One of the last projects to tackle are the 4 corners of floor that have been pushed down. Looks like the roof raising struts may have caused this. Can anyone help me with ideas on how to fix them? We live in dry SoCal, so moisture is not much of a problem, and the floor generally looks very sound and free of rot. Camper was made in Costa Mesa and appears to have lived around here all its life.
I am trying to insert a photo, but don't see how to do it.
I'm new to this site, and really like it!

1977 Krown Kavalier.. picked up off craigslist for $300. needs some TLC but canvas and windows are good. had it out last week and it stayed dry inside during a couple of pretty nasty storms.

Not much inside but it will do the trick..

In addition to my love of camping fishing and all things outdoors, i also run 2 hotrods (1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria 2 door hardtop and a 1956 Chevy 210 2 door hardtop) But I have a 1973 Skamper that a buddy of mine gave me... canvas is ok but needs some new wood under the bed and needs the end frames reattached to the wood... possibly some tires too... but i dont have a lot of use (or time to fix it) for it at the moment..

I've one too. A 80-81 Skamper. Very small laid out like a Tent Trailer currently in the process of rebuilding it from the frame up.

Diane, it has a cooler a propane stove right next to the sink, the galley folds down. It also has two bench sets and a table that make up a full size bed. So one queen sized bunk and a full size bed. Great condition and very rare i have only seen one other on here

I have made some changes and upgrades to the interior. Pics here

Just amazing!!!!!

Just have to bump this so I can find it when I get home and add some pics. Purchased a 1972 Camel Oasis III (no pull out kitchen). All major repairs are done, just looking for some new ideas to finish her up and get her out camping again. [:D]

I picked up a 1967 Wheel Camper the beginning of this month. It need a little work on the front corner and a new canvas but it was a steal at $300. The rest of the inside is almost perfect. It has all 3 original hub caps which apparently are a hot commodity. Its hard to find any information about them, the only thing I've found is the original brochure for it. If anyone has any info on the beauties let me know.
