Patticakes - we just got a Hilltop that we are in the process of restoring! I hope we do your grandfather proud - we are novice pop up campers.

We just bought our first PUP. Not bad for $400.00, a 1976 Starcraft Galaxy6. Guess it fits here... Have a ton of pictures. Maybe start my own thread?

Thanks, I removed the stove and faucet and covered it with laminate flooring so it is just a cooler with storage now as I have a Camp Chef Oven that sits on top now. I am able to return everything back to original condition if wanted later.

Just finished work on this 65' Apache Raven. I had new screens and zippers installed, the rest of the canvas is original and in great shape. I installed new tires/wheels, repacked/replaced wheel bearings, replaced the wiring harness. Previous owners in the last couple years painted the camper, replaced the road cover and replaced the mattresses.

Bought a 1978 Starcraft Starmaster 6 a few years ago, and have done a lot of restoration on it. I'm interested in chatting with other folks who have them or similar pop ups.

I recently purchased a 1976 Coleman Yorktown. Previously owned a 72 Starcraft and grew up in a 60's Apache. Haven't been out in the Yorktown but did camp backyard a few nights. Lots of good info here that I will use in fixing it better than new. Love the vintage pups.

Original owner of 1976 cox conestoga popup. Been garage kept for a long time and more recently in my driveway. My plan is to make road ready hopefully next year. Opened her up 2 years ago canvas and insides all good. Of course new tires and will have to determine the status of the attwood surge brakes. Love this site with all the info exchanged with fellow popup folks.....walt

I recently was given a free (1978-1981?) Bonair Lextra LD6 pop-up camper. I was told you may be able to help me because you rebuilt a Lionel/Bonair from the ground up. I can't wait to get out camping with it but I have one big issue. I'm unable to register it. The owner did not have any paperwork and has no idea what year it is or the Serial Number. Both the outside decal/sticker with the Serial no. and the inside one are unreadable, and I can't find the stamped Serial number anywhere on the frame. I've sanded around the tongue area looking for the stamped Serial number with no luck so far. I would appreciate any advice you might have. Alberta Dept MVehs is going to charge over $100 to inspect it if I can't find the Serial number so I would prefer to find it on the frame if I can. Thx!

We just picked up a '62 Eagle, and there was a mod done on the seals by the back and also by the front opening. Not the original strip and snaps, and the mod has warped with age so we can't close up the tent :-( Mind sharing what you did for those bits? I cannot BELIEVE you got all of those mods in there! A Shower?! :)

Hello maybe have a look on the axle and or the frame near the axle and wheels for that serial number...

I don't count ours as vintage, a '96 Cheyenne Coleman however it's in better condition now than when we picked her up and we love camping!!
