Nebraska is closed to overnight camping until May 8 and maybe longer. Still open for day use at this point. We are both still working so weekends were our only option. Seems counterproductive to drive 8 hours to get to some of the parks out west that we had on the list this year only to have to drive back...

I don't know what part of Nebraska you're in, but if south of I-80, Kansas is just a hop, skip and a jump. There are some nice state parks in the northern part of the state and they are open.

That's good to know! We did some camping there at Malvern Lake last year. Had a great time.

About to hit the Tobacco Trail for a nice bike ride :)

I checked the town and county web sites on restrictions, and thankfully the trails, green ways and park paths are still open. Our proclamations and state orders are open ended (no end time) but the town is saying April 30th and evaluate the situation, if shut downs are to remain.

I'm seeing indication in some states of COVID-19 spread flattening. Hopefully this trend will remain.

    Be well all :)
