Thought I should post something here!!! [:D] We are having a nice winter here but the days are getting longer so we're talking about trails that will need work this summer and of course we camp near by. Might have received 190" of snow by now which is not far from normal. Below is a few photos. Middle one is our street. Bottom is my job. P1100748.jpg P1100742.jpg bullyintheam.jpg

Looking good Arly! Your middle picture looks like a Toro commercial! ...and your last picture looks like something I would do for a case of Miller Lite [:D][:D]

Your lucky. Based on our average annual snowfall the State doesn't buy plows. They do dump gravel fines on the bridges. We just close the state for a day. The residual heat from last summer will handle it <GG>

We do "ride-alongs" all the time. I seen 175 sleds out there today.

Seems you guys like the winter photos, so here is a few more. The 6x6 plowing is our yard. The bottom one is a picnic table on a trail we care for. More photos can be had on the dogs blog. P1100783.jpg P1100670.jpg P1100698.jpg P1100763.jpg

Here is our roof. My work in the dark and the last one is up in the Keweenaw where they get more snow than us. P1100952.jpg P1100960.jpg P1100816.jpg

Pretty, I used to love winter, lived in WNY until I moved to NM, and went to college in the North Country of NY, but am so glad I live in the SW these days. Nice to see photos and be reminded why I like living where at least the sun shines a lot more than WNY.

You are correct there will be lots of trail maintenance when the snow and ice melt.
Be safe Good luck and Happy camping

All that snow...NOPE, I am good where we live here in Northern NJ. Not much snow this year and happy about that!
