Wiring in a '95 Bonair BA 700

    So, looking at my NTU PUP, I noticed something unique and confusing on the tongue.
    Seven pins in a connector on the tongue, into which plugs the seven wire harness beside it.

    The confusing part is that the other end of that harness is this 4 flat connector.

    Any ideas what may be going on here? I haven't yet stripped off any tape to trace the wires, and haven't followed them into the PUP either. I would assume this would be a seven pin wiring for trailer brakes and charge etc, but the PUP is not equipped with brakes.

    It looks like someone in the past removed the original plug and replaced it with a 4-flat.

    If the trailer doesn't have brakes and you don't need the charge line then don't worry about it, as long as all the lights work.
