Hello! I just purchased a Rockwood Freedom 1640ltd. The auxiliary ports wear you can plug in the fans on each end only have power to them when you have the light switch on. Was just looking for the easiest way to fix this problem so I can run the fans while we’re sleeping without the lights on. Thanks!

I believe your lights are wired wrong, especially if the port is on the light. The port should get power before the switch, so it can be used all the time. Some rockwood owners will tell us if your lights are the norm. I don’t think they are.

You'll have to take the light fixture down to move the port black/colored wire to the other side of the switch.

I just read on another form that the switch near the door is a master switch basically. After looking again I see each light has its own switch as well. I’ll just turn them off individually. Thank you for the replies though.
