I would have to say Barren River SP is our fav. The GC is old but pretty well kept. Many sites do have a slope but nothing unmanageable. Bathhouses are in good shape and are cleaned daily. Plenty of walking trails in the park as well as a golf course and of course the lake. The lodge has the best breakfast buffet. We enjoy hiking and geocaching so Barren fits us as far as the hiking.

Favorite KY State Park would have to be Natural Bridge Whittleton Campground. Koomer Ridge in the Red River Gorge is my hands down favorite place to camp but not a state park. Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge have so many beautiful hiking trails and destinations that make it my favorite.
