Have a chance to pick up another PUP, It is a mid 90's jayco 1207 model...looks to be in great shape. original and well cared for canvas. The owner is just looking to dump it. It will need work on the inside but that is to be expected. Those of you that have owned or own one is there anything to be looking for as problem spots?

    thanks

I had a 1990 jayco 1006. I loved that unit it was built pretty strong considering the junk I'm seeing now. Things to watch out for is roof leaks. If caulking wasn't maintained it was common for the center seam to leak. Obviously tires, barrings, plastic fitting deterating, if that unit had the old fashioned canvas it was prone to shrinkage if wet. I never had a storage box, but if the unit does check for possible leakage there. I never had a problem with my floor as it was very solid. I would jump on another jayco if it came available and was asking a decent price.
