    Hey everyone...

So where is the best place online to get zippers for the camper?

My one zipper broke a slider and honestly, the person replaced the zipper backwards... So it zips top to bottom instead of bottom to top.

But, cannot find a replacement slider so seems ill have to hand stitch a new zipper on.

Now... Anyone know where I can get one? Fabric land had none.
Also what kind am I looking for... Separating or non separating?
The two canvases come apart when unzipped.. So I'm thinking separating but I know nothing about zippers...

    Thanks!

Also.. Plastic or metal? My current metal ones have rusted though... And difficult to slide.

Are you just trying to fix the repaired zipper? You should be able to just unstitch the end of the zipper and pull the slider off and then reinstall the way you want. That is assuming you have a non-separating zipper (it does not come apart at the ends, just opens a window)

I use sailrite.com for most of my canvas repair items.

Well the slider broke in half.... So I can't really fix that.

And I can't seem to find a slider to fit, so I'm thinking ill end up having to replace the dang zipper.

So for a bunkend zipper... I want separating?
    Metal? Or plastic?

On the top of the sailrite link there is a video on zippers. I think that will help more than anything for understanding zippers.

A couple of years ago I got a zipper repair kit through a web site (oddly enough) www.zrk.com.

You can get just about any type of zipper and pulls you need.

    I fixed my zipper :)

I posted on the what did you do for your pup in April thread.

Basically I found this random zipper on the outside of the pup... No idea what it does.
I've never used it, didn't foresee ever using it.

So... I cut the end stopper off.. Slid the slider off.
On the other side I took the broken slider off... And slid the random slider on..
Ta da! My bunkend zips up now!
