@PopUpSteve I have the same ones and thoroughly cleaned mine in the spring. Can't recall if I had access to the motor but it was very, very easy to disassemble. Just be careful of the 2 small nuts that slide into the track that the screws go into as they fall out pretty easy without noticing. I really like mine but I think my clips are worn out as they don't stay on too well and make a rattle noise. I need to find a small piece of foam or something to absorb it.

EDIT: just after I posted that I saw amazon has them, $16.00 for ONE clip or something ridiculous. My RV dealer has 2x for $14. Ordered a couple packs, hopefully this solves the problem

@PopUpSteve

These ones are the $16 ones but beware, people say it only comes with one.

These ones are a bit more money but may be cheaper for you as I'd have to import them from US to Canada but 2 are included.

They also sell them on Hanna RV. I've never dealt with them but they're a great price.

They arrive Wednesday, so I won't be able to try them out until Thursday when I get to camp but I still feel like they'll rattle around (and it drives me nuts at night [LOL] ). Almost need the pipe wrap stuff but thinner.

Oh, the clips. My mistake, I thought you meant FANS for that price.

Amazon has decent battery ones like these that clamp. I've been thinking about getting 2 for next year that way if 2 people are sleeping on each bed, they each get a fan. Ryobi has a nice pair as well, I think they're a little smaller.

I'm the same as you, though. I know what that power plug is for and if its not used for the bunk fans, it will drive my OCD nuts. [LOL]
