I have a 2009 Rockwood 1940 LTD. I only have two stabilizers on the back of the PUP. I figured it was because the box was short. Should I look into in installing 2 on the front. The previous owner left two jacks like you would use to change a tire with...i think they used them as front stabilizers.

So do I need two more stabilizers...if so what kind should I use?

Depends on what you're doing inside the pup [:O] . The front stab's aren't really a necessity because the tongue jack will prevent the pup from tipping towards the front. That said, front stabilizers may help with some of the movement felt in the pup if someone on the front bunk moves around. Wheel chocks may work just as well for some of the movement.

I'd put two more on the front. That should stop the camper from moving when you walk around in it. The crank down kind like THIS are easy to use.

Definitely use wheel chocks that are pounded in tightly against the tires.
